YOUR VOWS, YOUR SETTING

CHOOSE WHERE YOU SAY “I DO”

At Helperby Walled Garden, you have a choice of two beautiful ceremony settings. Exchange your vows outside beneath the stone Cupola, surrounded by the garden and open sky, or hold your ceremony beneath the elegant Sperry Tent for a light-filled, covered setting at the heart of the venue.

Two beautiful ways to say “I do”

The Stone Cupola

For an outdoor ceremony, the stone Cupola gives you a distinctive setting framed by the old garden walls, open sky and greenery of the Walled Garden. It feels intimate, romantic and completely connected to the surroundings.

The Sperry Tent

Prefer to marry beneath cover? The Sperry Tent offers an equally special setting for your ceremony, with its sweeping canvas, wooden poles and relaxed garden feel. It’s not simply a wet-weather alternative – it’s a beautiful ceremony space in its own right.

From vows to celebration

Whichever setting you choose, everything happens in one place. Once you’re married, guests can move straight to drinks and canapés on the lawn, with no travelling between ceremony and reception and no long pause while everyone relocates.

Prefer a church ceremony?

The villages around Helperby also offer traditional church options, allowing you to combine a religious ceremony with a private garden reception just a short journey away. Our team can help you plan timings and arrival flow.

Stand beneath the Cupola and imagine everyone waiting

Some places only make sense when you stand inside them. Visit privately, follow the walk towards the Cupola, explore both ceremony plans and experience the stillness of the garden before it fills with your people.
