Step 1 Your date
We host weddings May to September, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Bank Holiday Mondays. Every date comes with the day before to decorate and the morning after to collect – all part of your venue hire.

What's included in your venue hire

- Purpose-built car park for 70 vehicles within the garden grounds
- The day before (12:30–17:00) to decorate and the morning after (09:30–11:30) to collect
On the day itself, the garden is yours from two hours before your ceremony until midnight.
Step 2 Your guests
Day guests join you for the ceremony and feast; evening guests arrive for the party. We can welcome up to 130 guests in total.

Step 3 Your ceremony
Say your vows in the open air beneath our licensed neo-classical stone Cupola, framed by heritage roses – or within the elegant Sperry tent should Yorkshire skies have other plans. The Registrar comes to you.
Step 4 Your feast
By Wonderland Bar & Kitchen – seasonal, flavour-led and served with care. Prices are per day guest; the late-night menu feeds everyone still on the dancefloor.

What does venue hire include?
Your venue hire includes exclusive use of the four-acre walled garden for up to 130 guests in total, including the ceremony and seated wedding breakfast; the permanent Sperry tent; the licensed Cupola; lawns and fire-pit spaces; a fully stocked and staffed bar; parking for up to 70 vehicles; and support from your dedicated wedding coordinator. You have styling access from 12.30pm–5pm the day before. On the wedding day, the garden is yours from two hours before your ceremony—or drinks reception if marrying elsewhere—until midnight, with the bar and music finishing at 11.30pm. The following-morning collection window is 9.30am–11am, and all overnight guests depart by 11am.
What additional costs apply?
A civil ceremony beneath the Cupola is £700, with Registrar fees arranged separately. A £150 non-refundable damage waiver also applies. Food, drinks and accommodation are optional and are added according to the choices you make in the calculator.
How and when do we pay?
A £2,400 deposit secures your date, followed by a £2,000 interim payment. The remaining venue balance is due six weeks before your wedding. Your personalised proposal will set everything out clearly, so you can plan with confidence.
Are food and drinks included?
Food and drinks are not included in the venue-hire fee. Catering and the managed bar are provided exclusively by the Wonderland Bar & Kitchen team and priced around your menu and guest count. The calculator lets you explore different feasts and drinks packages and see how they shape your overall estimate.
What accommodation is available?
The Gardener’s Cottage adjoins the garden, sleeps six and is available for a two-night stay from £600. The camping field can be added for £550. The bell-tent glamping village can sleep up to 100 guests and starts at £2,750 for 11 bell tents, sleeping 22 guests, including the honeymoon tent, with extra tents added to suit your numbers. Glamping is supplied by our specialist partner and confirmed in your personalised quote. All overnight guests depart by 11am.
