Three giant tipis tucked away in 66 acres of the Derbyshire National Forest, with lakes and woodland all around – exclusively yours. Pick your date, your feast and your drinks: your estimate updates as you go, and we'll send the full breakdown as your personalised wedding proposal.

We host weddings April to October. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Bank Holiday Mondays come with the day before to decorate and the morning after to collect – all part of your venue hire.

What's included in your venue hire
- Three giant reception tipis and a Snug, all linked into one warm, sociable celebration space
- Tables and chairs to seat up to 150 guests, with a bespoke layout
- Solid wooden flooring throughout, with heaters for when the nights turn chilly
- Thousands of fairy lights wrapped around the tipi poles and festoon lighting draped outside
- Snug tipi with chesterfield sofas, armchairs and a fire pit – plus a crackling fire pit by the bar
- Luxury on-site bar with first-class service, taking cash or card
- Plenty of on-site parking and luxury loos
- Your own wedding portal – suppliers, FAQs, floor plan ideas and payment tracking in one place
- The day before (12:00–16:30) to decorate and the morning after (08:00–11:30) to collect*
*Sunday weddings run as a single day, with access from 9am until midnight.
Step 2 Your guests
Day guests join you for the ceremony and feast; evening guests arrive for the party.
Discounted children's meals are available – just ask our team when you enquire.
Step 3 Your ceremony
Our hand-built Ceremony Barn sits right beside the tipis, surrounded by trees and fairy lights – licensed for civil and celebrant-led ceremonies for up to 120 guests.
Step 4 Your feast
By Wonderland Bar & Kitchen – generous, flavour-led and served with care. Prices are per day guest; the late-night treat feeds everyone still on the dancefloor.

What are the venue hire prices?
Venue hire at The Hidden Hive starts from £3,995 and varies by month and day of the week. Every celebration here feels wonderfully personal, so use the guide below to imagine which date could work beautifully for you.

What does venue hire include?
Venue hire at The Hidden Hive gives you exclusive use of your own private corner of the forest. Most weddings unfold over three relaxed days, giving you time to decorate together, celebrate without feeling rushed, and collect everything the following morning:
- The day before: 12pm–4.30pm to decorate and prepare.
- Your wedding day: From two hours before your ceremony, or drinks reception if marrying off-site, until midnight.
- The morning after: 8am–11.00am to collect your décor.
For Sunday weddings, everything happens in one joyful day, with access from 9am until midnight.
What additional costs apply?
A wedding ceremony in The Hidden Hive’s hand-built Ceremony Barn costs £550. The barn sits beside the tipis, wrapped in trees and fairy lights, and is licensed for ceremonies of up to 120 guests. Registrar fees are arranged separately, and a non-refundable £150 damage waiver also applies.
How and when do we pay?
A £2,400 venue deposit secures your Hidden Hive wedding date. A further £2,000 is due 8 months before your wedding, with the remaining balance due 6 weeks before the day—giving you a simple, clear payment journey as the excitement builds.
Are food and drink included?
Food and drink are priced separately at The Hidden Hive, with food from £30 per person and drinks from £5.60 per person. Your feast and bar can be shaped around the kind of celebration you love. Explore the possibilities.
What accommodation is available?
Beehive Woodland Lakes campsite is only a five-minute walk from The Hidden Hive, with a glamping village and camping pitches available. It lets your favourite people stay close and turns the celebration into a little wedding festival. These are booked separately, and our team can share the latest options and prices.
