Three giant tipis in the arboretum of Whatton House – fairy lights, fire pits and 15 acres of woodland, exclusively yours for three days. Pick your date, your feast and your drinks: your estimate updates as you go, and we'll send the full breakdown as your personalised wedding proposal.

We host weddings April to October on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Every wedding comes with the day before to decorate and the morning after to collect – all part of your venue hire. Fancy a March date? A handful are available – just ask.

What's included in your venue hire

The day before (13:30–18:00) to decorate, your wedding day from two hours before your ceremony until midnight, and the morning after (08:00–11:30) to collect.
Step 2 Your guests
Day guests join you for the ceremony and feast; evening guests arrive for the party.
Discounted children's meals are available – just ask our team when you enquire.
Step 3 Your ceremony
The Bark House is our licensed ceremony tipi – pledge your love under a grand wooden arch with the gardens and open sky as your backdrop. Prefer a church? All Saints in Long Whatton is a mile and a half down the road.
Step 4 Your feast
By Wonderland Bar & Kitchen – generous, flavour-led and served with care. Prices are per day guest; the late-night food feeds everyone still on the dancefloor.

What are the venue hire prices?
Venue hire starts from £4,295, with the price depending on the year, month and day you choose. The standard rates are below so you can compare dates at a glance.

For 2027 dates, the calculator automatically applies the current 20% venue-hire saving. Food, drink, a Bark House ceremony, accommodation and the £150 damage waiver are added separately, so you can shape the day around what matters to you.
What does venue hire include?
Your venue hire gives you three linked giant reception tipis and a snug tipi in the arboretum, with plenty already taken care of. This includes a dedicated venue co-ordinator, tables and crossback chairs for up to 150 guests, wooden flooring, chesterfield sofas and armchairs, fire pits, fairy and festoon lighting, a staffed bar, luxury loos, heaters and on-site parking.
You can come in from 12.30pm–5pm the day before to decorate, enjoy the venue from two hours before your ceremony until midnight on your wedding day, then return from 8am–11.00am the following morning to collect everything.
What additional costs apply?
If you would love to hold your ceremony in the Bark House, the hire fee is £550. Your registrar is booked and paid separately. A non-refundable £150 damage waiver also applies to every wedding.
How and when do we pay?
A £2,400 deposit secures your date, £2000 8 months before your date with the remaining balance due six weeks before your wedding.
Are food and drink included?
Food and drink are priced separately, giving you the freedom to choose the menu and drinks that feel right for your celebration. For 2027 weddings, main menus start from £32 per person and drinks from £6 per person. For 2028, main menus start from £34 per person and drinks from £6.25 per person.
Is accommodation available?
Gardener’s Cottage has three double bedrooms and is available for a two-night stay – the night before and the night of your wedding. It is £800 for 2027. We can also share our recommended local hotels and B&Bs for your guests.
